Youth Leadership & Anti‑Violence Grant Peace & Healing Commons (City of Toledo, 2023)

Ramona partnered with Peace & Healing Commons, a nonprofit was dedicated to creating a welcoming, safe, and restorative space in Toledo where individuals would meditate, gather, build relationships, and find common ground.

She helped develop a successful City of Toledo grant that funded a youth leadership and anti‑violence initiative. Working directly with the organization’s executive leadership, she transformed a draft program vision into a clear, funder‑aligned proposal that secured full project support. The funded program delivered summer leadership training, art-based youth engagement, and an anti‑violence education equipping Toledo youth with skills, relationships, and pathways that support long‑term success.
